Started this one on my Mom yesterday! There’s still a ton of color to go in the rose.

I need to focus on smaller designs,and the first thing I thought of was the cherry blossom. I’m trying to find a nice blend of my own style and a more traditional look. Mostly, I’m just playing around in my sketch book here.
I still need more practice on pig skin, but I think it won’t be too much longer before I make the move to people. Consistency is the key!

This had been finished about a week ago, but I’m finding myself with very little time to get on tumblr. I basically have to wait for my days off to have anything that resembles free time.
The black spider mum isn’t practical for a tattoo, but it was great for practicing hand control…bordering on torture.
